Professional Background
I completed a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering in 2020. I chose to do a degree in CS because I truly had a passion for building tools and software.
In the beginning of my Junior year, I had the opportunity to apply for an internship at a mid-scale startup (Appointy) in the non-technical sphere. I wanted to use this as an opportunity to gain more experience from an avenue I was not exposed to: business management, sales and marketing.
I was offered a full-time role within 2 months and the following 2 years of (Junior and Senior year) were some of the most exhilirating! Everyday after university got over at 4pm, I would drive to work and stay till 9-10pm and gain real life world experience. This meant that, when I graduated I had a 4 year degree and 2 years of work experience under my belt.
After joining full-time I worked with large enterprises looking to deploy Appointy's product in a workflow. This meant speaking with clients, communicating business requirements and working in a cross-functional environment amongst Development, Design, Business, Sales and Marketing teams.
In 2022, I decided to further my love for technology and business by pursuing a Masters in Information Systems at New York University. This pursuit enables me to gain specialist academic knowledge and apply it to the corporate world.
Having worked at a mid-scale startup, working at a large multinational was an ambition of mine. During the summer of 2023, I completed an internship at Barclays, as a Technology Analyst Summer Intern where I was primarily responsible for writing automation scripts to enable proactive monitoring.
Currently, I am working towards finishing my Master's and building my knowledge as I go along.
